3. In some areas in the north, it is cold in winter. Avoid storing the ink outdoors to prevent the ink from gelling at low temperature. In case of gelation phenomena, transfer it to the warehouse with high temperature or put it into hot water to restore the insoluble matter to its original state.
4. The principle of "first in, first out" shall be followed in ink storage and management, that is, the ink purchased first shall be used first, so as to prevent the ink from affecting its use effect due to long storage time.
5. The ink also has a certain shelf life. If it is stored too long, various components in the ink will separate and precipitate. Therefore, the ink should not be stored for a long time. The general storage period is 1 year.


Viscosity of label printing ink
Viscosity is one of the important quality indexes of water-based ink, and it is also an important factor determining the printing quality. The ink viscosity is too low, which is easy to cause poor transferability, insufficient ink supply, uniform strip of printed products, insufficient amount of transferred ink, white exposure and so on; If the viscosity is too high, the printing text is not clear, the plate is pasted, and the amount of transferred ink is too much, resulting in too thick ink film, which is prone to color fading, ink transfer difficulties and other disadvantages.
The viscosity of label printing ink has generally been standardized in ink products according to the categories suitable for printing, and there is no need to allocate before use. Personalized products can be customized or deployed on site according to the actual situation of users. In the application of ink, some users have a certain misunderstanding about the viscosity of ink. They mistakenly understand that the ink with high viscosity can be diluted in a high proportion, which can reduce the printing cost, resulting in a series of quality defects.
