Water Based Intaglio Ink

Description

It is mainly made of water-soluble resin, pigment, water and additives after processing and grinding, and added with appropriate additives to achieve good printing effect. The ink shall be fully stirred before use and used after filtration, and after opening, it should be sealed in the warehouse to prevent dust falling or scabbing, high temperature and sun exposure.

Use

1.The ink is mostly used in internal printing. Generally, Water based gravure ink has the disadvantages of no brightness, ash falling and low concentration. When printing, it is mostly used in internal printing, which can achieve the characteristics of clear text, complete dot, strong hair color and clear hierarchy.

2. Appropriate light edition, on the one hand, the aqueous system leads to the rheological characteristics of Newtonian fluid, and the ink transfer capacity is more than 15% greater than that of solvent ink; On the other hand, the solid content of Water based ink is high, and the thickness of dry ink film in the same area can be smaller. Therefore, for inking holes with the same surface area, it is recommended to carve shallower.

How to use the ink?

1. Completely remove the release agent or grease on the surface with special treatment agent or special cleaner to improve the adhesion.

2. Before using water-based intaglio ink, the operator shall fully mix the ink used to avoid color separation and precipitation caused by long-term storage, which will affect the color difference.

3. Usage ratio of hardener: water based intaglio ink provided by the company: water-based hardener: diluent (deionized water) 100:5-10: appropriate amount.

4. The ink added with hardener must be fully stirred for more than 3 minutes before use (uneven mixing will cause poor adhesion) within 4 hours!

5. The standard curing and drying of water based intaglio ink is 24 hours. If the temperature is low, it is necessary to extend the drying time or heat it for 60 degrees!
