1. Alkali resistance of pigment

When the pH value is higher than 9.5, the alkalinity is too strong, the viscosity of the ink will be reduced, the drying speed will be slow, and the water resistance will be poor; When the pH value is lower than 8.0, the alkalinity is too weak, the viscosity of the ink will increase, and the ink is easy to dry, resulting in defects such as dirty version, paste version and foaming. Therefore, pigments with good alkali resistance must be used when selecting pigments.

2. Relative density of pigment

When the relative densities of the pigments used for water-based inks are very different from each other, the pigments with low relative density are easy to float on the.
